Project overview

A website for an agency specialised in hiking tours across the Balkan mountains. The goal was to put the natural beauty of the region in the foreground and build an informative, visually engaging platform for people who spend their weekends outdoors.

Photography carries this project - it is what conveys the atmosphere of being on the mountain, so the layout is built around it: full-width imagery, generous margins and typography that stays quiet and lets the landscape speak. Around that I organised the content so visitors can move easily between hiking routes and find the practical information they need to plan a trip.

The work covered the page structure and navigation, the grid and layout system, image selection and cropping, and the typographic hierarchy across the homepage, the about section, the gallery and the individual mountain pages.
