Project overview

A mobile app for browsing, saving and cooking recipes. I worked with defined guidelines for the main categories, the recipe card structure of the Trending Now and Recent Recipes sections, and the layout of the single-recipe screen. My focus was to organise that content clearly and build an interface that feels intuitive, appetising and easy to move through.

Food is the hero of every screen, so the visual system is built around it: warm neutral surfaces, generous white space and restrained typography let the photography carry the appetite appeal, while colour and hierarchy guide the eye from category, to recipe card, to ingredients and steps. The work covered the content structure, the visual hierarchy and the key interface elements - recipe cards, category sections, navigation and the single-recipe screen - kept consistent across the app.
