A mobile app that connects shelters and owners with people looking to adopt, making dog adoption easier, more accessible and more responsible.
The idea for this app came from my love for dogs and my desire to create something that could help more of them find a safe and loving home.
The task was to design a mobile app that makes dog adoption easier, more accessible and more responsible by bringing adopters, shelters and individuals offering dogs into one organised space.
The goal was to create a warm and trustworthy experience where users can easily discover dogs, find the right match through filters, explore detailed profiles, save favourites, communicate with owners or shelters and arrange a meeting. The app also needed to support the other side of the adoption process by allowing users to create and publish adoption listings for dogs looking for a home.
The main design challenge was balancing functionality with emotion - creating an interface that feels simple and intuitive while still reflecting the personal and meaningful nature of adopting a dog.
Accents are used sparingly, only to carry meaning.
The app is not live, so here is how it works from both sides.
